Thankyou, what a great video. The AT-AT driver was my first starwars figure when i was 4 years old and that image used on the card has an enduring place in my mind. I was very young and although starwars had obviously captured my imagination it was still a very new and strange world to me, this picture sums up all those feelings. How fascinating that this helmet is the one in the picture. thanks again.
@TechnicalFreak - I doubt it was a original as there were only 2 made for ESB and one was stolen and the other one (the one I reviewed) has been in private hands for years. send me pics to my site addy (on front page)
@BingoBongo275 Thanks for reply and thanks for info,i'd love to have been a fly on the wall at Christies that day,have you any ideas how much it sold for?Cheers......Jamie
@boshek71
Would love to review a DS gunner but don't know if anyone's got one. One was sold at Christies about 8 yeas ago and thats the only one I know of.....
I have heard the word Greeblies used in modelmaking for the past 20+ years that I have been involved in it.
Jez I continue to return to this video to update my own helmet to correct spec. Maybe one day i will go to all grey amor, but since I am 'twinned" with another identical TA that i set up here in the Garrison its all or nothing.
Looking forward to more features!
TA-4019
No theyre not.
The shadow troopers and TIE Pilots are different. Shadows are "Expanded Universe" characters which are basically black stormtroopers. TIE Pliots were used in the Original Trilogy and only have helmet sna body armour. The helmets, thouh similar to Stormtroopers are not the same since the back section is totally different (theyre basically X-Wing helmets added to stormtrooper faceplates)
Cheers
jez
lol no they aren't XD Shadow Troopers are a gunmetal/black colored Stormtrooper.
Black Hole Troopers/Novatroopers are all black. TIE Fighter Pilots are just called TIE Pilots.
